Here's the electrifying lineup of exercises that we conquered during our latest session:
1. Cable Front Raise with Weights (4 x 15 reps at 21kg): This exercise is like a gentle wake-up call for your anterior deltoids, those front-of-the-shoulder muscles. It's akin to coaxing your shoulders to shine and contributes to improved neuromuscular control and shoulder function, ensuring each move is executed flawlessly.
2. Military Press with Barbell (4 x 15 reps at 5kg): The military press is the star quarterback of shoulder exercises. It engages your entire shoulder complex, bestowing upon you greater strength and resilience. Plus, it's the secret to achieving that coveted V-shaped look. With military press, you'll be ready to conquer any challenge, be it inside or outside the gym.
3. Upright Row with Barbell (4 x 15 reps at 20kg, up from 10kg): Think of upright rows as the elevator to shoulder greatness. This exercise zeros in on your traps and lateral deltoids, paving the way for that broad-shoulder appearance. Just remember to uphold impeccable form to ensure your shoulders feel poised, not like they've been on a rollercoaster ride.
4. Seated Shoulder Press with Dumbbells (4 x 20 reps at 2x20kg): Seated shoulder presses are all about precision. By isolating your shoulder muscles, they establish a robust mind-muscle connection. Picture it as coaching your shoulders to perform ballet—graceful, controlled, and striking. Plus, it's ideal for sculpting those shoulder caps, guaranteeing you look sharp in any attire.
5. Side Lateral Raise with Dumbbells (4 x 15 reps at 2x10kg): The side lateral raise is the move that shouts, "I've got wings!" It homes in on your lateral deltoids, bestowing you with those coveted "cannonball" shoulders. You'll appear as if you could soar at any moment. Moreover, it's remarkable for accentuating shoulder definition, ensuring your arms are always ready for the limelight.
Following this exhilarating workout, we concluded our evening by rolling out our yoga mats and delving into core-strengthening exercises:Bird Dog Plank (2 x 30 seconds)
- Plank (1 x 30 seconds)
- Double Crunch (1 x 30 seconds)
- Butterfly Crunch (1 x 30 seconds)
- Star Crunch (1 x 30 seconds)
- Boat Core Scissor Kick (3 x 30 seconds)
- V Sit (1 x 40 seconds)
